摘要
The influence of material loss is crucial for the design of plasmonic crystals at optical frequencies. Band structure and eigenmodes of plasmonic crystals with the lossy and dispersive materials are investigated in this work. The solution to the eigenvalue problem is based on the wave equation and periodic boundary condition. And then examples show that material loss significantly affects the band structure and eigenmodes at the plasmonic resonance frequencies.
