Low Power OTA Design and Filter Synthesis on Field Programmable Analog Array using Genetic Algorithm

摘要
This paper presents a technique of designing OTA using genetic algorithm, obtaining an OTA of 26dB gain and 27MHz bandwidth consuming a power of 426 uwatt. Also GA used to synthesis desired filters on the designed FPAA with design parameters used as a cost function and different trails is done on the FPAA system level which maps the transistor level of the FPAA but with faster response while doing optimization, obtaining a LPF with gain=12dB and cutoff frequency=11MHz, and a BPF with gain=23dB and center frequency=150MHZ achieving a max power of 25 mWatt for a 2nd order band pass filter.
