The analytical expression of the new guidance law design approach based on the Lyapunov method were obtained for the generalized planar and three-dimensional engagement models. This law enables to create laws that improve the effectiveness of the proportional navigation law. It was shown that the three-dimensional Lyapunov based guidance law embeds the Lyapunov based guidance law obtained for the planar case. The developed guidance law can be used for the midcourse and terminal guidance also.
