Successful closure of sixteen year old faecal fistulae in a twenty year old female patient at a provincial hospital: Case report

摘要：
A twenty year old female developed two faecal fistulae at the age of four years following a laparotomy for intestinal obstruction due to Ascaris lumbricoides. The physical, physiological, psychological and social effects of the long-standing fistulae are highlighted. The successful closure of the fistulae is reported.
