摘要
We present the results of studying the optical properties and calculations of the electronic structure of a ferromagnetic Heusler alloy Fe2CrAl. The main attention is focused on the investigation of the interband absorption in the infrared (IR) range and on the details of the band structure in the vicinity of the Fermi level. Both experiment and calculation have shown the existence of low-energy gaps.
