摘要
Performance evaluation can present the advisable basis to acquire kinds of performance criteria, optimize network performance and configure communication network. Because of its specially important position to configure and improve network, it is a certain trend for performance evaluation to penetrate fieldbus. In this paper, CAN protocol is thoroughly studied and the time sequencing of message transmission cycle is analyzed, which establishes the foundation of running model. Several performance criteria are evaluated in simulation technique. The results show that such system characteristics as the number of nodes, transmission rate, average interframespace, etc. influence on average transmission delay, system load.
