Three issues raised in Dmitriev's statements were discussed and the clarifications were provided. The Dmitriev has agreed that the linear, nonreciprocal, biisotropic media were not allowed by the structure of modern electromagnetic theory. It was proved that trace ([α(ω,k)]-[β(ω,k)]) is invariant with respect to the Lorentz transformation. It was stated that the Post constraint is not predictated on the symmetries following solely from the Lorentz-reciprocity theorem. The use of higher order tensors confounds the simple boundary conditions that are mandated by the structure of modern electromagnetic theory.
