摘要
This paper establishes a digital twin (DT) model of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) for electric vehicle (EV) application. The model consists of two parts, namely the electromagnetic model and the thermal model. Both models are composed of geometric models, physical models, and behavioral models. Two models are then reduced through different reduction methods, thereby meeting the real-time computation requirements. By comparing with the simulation results of traditional finite element software, the accuracy of the reduced-order model is verified. Finally, the steps of constructing the electromagnetic thermal coupling digital twin model of PMSM are described with a specific example, which lays the foundation for the research of the motor DT.
