Post-COVID Interstitial Lung Disease and Other Lung Sequelae

Post-COVID sequelae including lung injury and PASC are complex and poorly understood, repre-senting heterogenous manifestations, mecha-nisms, and short-and long-term outcomes. The mainstay of therapy remains mostly supportive, though robust research is underway to better un-derstand and characterize pathways for interven-tion. Historical insight remains important to clarify whether current observations are truly novel or representative of previously ignored or misunder-stood syndromes.
