Amplified electrochemical carbon nano-structure sensor for determination of tert-butylhydroquinone in food samples

摘要
The measurement of food additives has been introduced as one of the most important and widely used solutions in checking the quality of food products. A rapid and new design carbon paste electrochemical sensor (CPE) amplified with palladium decorated single wall carbon nanotubes (Pd/SWCNTs) were introduced for analysis of the phenolic based antioxidant (tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) in this case) in non-alcoholic drinking samples in the food industry. Different voltammetric techniques confirmed the synthesized nanocomposite has as good mediator activity for electrochemical-oxidation TBHQ as a sensor because of recording high oxidation current and low overvoltage. The electrochemical parameters, such as electron transfer coefficient (alpha) and diffusion coefficient (D) are calculated by recorded electrochemical signals. In continuous, linear dynamic range 20 nM to 190 mu M with a limit of detection 6.0 nM recorded in this project. Finally, Pd/SWCNTs-CPE used to monitoring of TBHQ in real food samples and the analytical results confirmed the selectivity and sensitivity of proposed sensor in this regard.
