摘要
The wind of change has been blowing through most public and private enterprises in the past years. Many enterprises have seen how changed conditions have led to cost reductions and, in many cases, dismissals. For others, changes have led to restructuring and new forms of cooperation - for example through strategic alliances, mergers and acquisitions. This quantitative study focuses on the concepts, such as specified type of change and the success of an organization; the main current factors that have an impact on the success of change management in an organization; the effect of the environment on the success of change in an organization; and the size of the organization and the success of defined change. The participants were composed of 100 employees from 2 large public and private businesses operating in Kosovo. The data were collected via a questionnaire developed by the researchers using a Likert type items, from 1-disagree to 7-strongly agree. The obtained data were analysed using SPPS software. The results have revealed that Change is important for any organization because, without change, businesses would likely lose their competitive edge and fail to meet the needs of what most hope to be a growing base of loyal customers A change is an inevitable aspect of life time people things & situations changes. Similarly, organization also changes. The introduction of any change initiative in an organization is characterized not only by changes in financial or material resources but significant changes in the human relationship dynamics & interactions of people involved in these work practices.
