摘要
Higher data rates and better quality of service in wireless networks in general are necessities. Therefore; new and advanced techniques have been introduced for improving wireless link reliability and spectral efficiency. In 5G wireless networks, it is critical challenge to offer high bit rate and extensive networking services with low Bit Error Rate (BER). Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) is used as the technique which can achieve high quality communications in communication networks. Different multi-antenna technologies, particularly Multi-User (MU) MIMO-OFDM, have been introduced for enhancing channel reliability. In addition, many channel coding schemes have been applied for enhancing the performance in terms of BER. Among these schemes, Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) and polar coding methods are the standard specifications for high bit rate data transmission in 5G networks. Effects of applying LDPC and polar coding schemes in MU MIMO-OFDM systems have been studied in this work. The obtained results reveal the efficiency of applying these coding schemes in 5G MU-MIMO-OFDM communication systems.
