摘要
This article focuses on exploring visual strategies in data journalism and presents the main findings of a research based on interviews with journalists from Latin America and the Caribbean. Data journalism, a branch of investigative journalism, utilizes digital technologies to gather, process, and analyze large volumes of data with the aim of producing news and information. A distinctive feature of this practice is the inclusion of visual representations that not only appeal aesthetically but also facilitate public access, comprehension, and interpretation of data. This study aims to contribute to the development of the professional and academic field related to data journalism and its visual dimensions by exploring how these strategies can be used more effectively to communicate complex information to broader audiences.
