摘要
Research has already shifted to identifying the requirements and use-cases for beyond-5G (B5G) and 6G networks. However, business models (BMs) should also be investigated to effectively address the opportunities promised by B5G/6G. Traditional telecom roles could either disappear or transform, while new ones will appear. In this article, we focus on the telecommunications ecosystem to highlight the major BM changes introduced by 5G, derive perspectives for B5G/6G BMs, and propose business opportunities for the involved actors.
