摘要：
An alternative method to connect offshore windfarms to the grid is presented. Instead of direct buried armored cables a cable-in-pipe technique is used. Low cost land cables can be used, protected by (free space in) the HDPE pipes. Installation of the cables is done by a technique using water under pressure. Cables cannot only be installed from one pipe entry, without equipment and labor at the other pipe end, also they can be transported to any desired location, loose from the machine, like "tube post". A completed offshore project is presented, as well as some land projects with the method.
