This is the publication of archival documents pertaining to the history of the Russian Art Exhibition of 1924-1926 in the United States as an element of early Soviet cultural diplomacy. The documents discuss the role in the exhibition of figures like Igor Grabar, Olga Kameneva, Ivan Sytin, Charles Crane, and Christian Brinton and the conflicts among different groups of the organizers. The publication also explicates the conflict between the organizers' commercial and political priorities.
