ETHICS OF THE FUTURE, RESPONSIBILITY AND JUSTIFICATION IN HANS JONAS

This article intends to thematize Hans Jonas' ethics of the future, whilst an ethics of responsibility, as a new conception of ethics, different from previous ethics. It also intends to present it as a necessary ethics for current times due to the modification of the nature of human action by science and technology in today's planetary context characterized by the threat of a nuclear war of extermination and the ecological crisis. Finally, it intends to thematize the philosophical justification of this new ethics in Hans Jonas' philosophy and to show the insufficiency of its rational justification.
