摘要
This paper presents a novel chip-free textile tag for gesture recognition applications. The proposed tag consists of a frequency selective surface (FSS) printed on the fabric with conductive ink. The transmission coefficients of the device proposed are controlled by each finger position. This is achieved by associating each finger phalanx with a conductive element. The authors present and discuss a two-finger prototype that was fabricated from fabric commonly used in the textile industry, the jeans. The results obtained demonstrate that the proposed device has a high degree of applicability in gesture recognition applications.
