摘要
The selective catalytic oxidation (SCO) of triethylamine(TEA)to harmless nitrogen (N-2), carbon dioxide (CO2), and water (H2O) is of green elimination technology. In this paper, Mn-Ce/ZSM-5 with different proportions of MnO (x) /CeO (x) were studiedfor the selective catalytic combustion of TEA. The catalysts werecharacterized by XRD, BET, H-2-TPR, XPS, and NH3-TPD and their catalytic activities were analyzed. The results showedthat MnO (x) was the main active component. The addition of a small amount of CeO (x) promotes the generation of high-valence Mn ions, which reduces thereduction temperature of the catalyst and increases the redox capacityof the catalyst. In addition, the synergistic effect between CeO (x) and MnO (x) significantlyimproves the mobility of reactive oxygen species on the catalyst, thus improving the catalytic performance of the catalyst. The catalyticoxidation performance of TEA over 15Mn5Ce/ZSM-5 is the highest. TEAcan be completely converted at 220 degrees C, and the selectivity forN(2) is up to 80%. The reaction mechanism was studied byin situ diffuse reflectance infrared Fourier transform spectroscopy(in situ DRIFTS).
