摘要
Introduction: considering that most innovations are planned based on information and knowledge, it is necessary to study the domain of knowledge about information in order to arrive at the most appropriate way to manage the information and knowledge involved in the innovation process. This article seeks to provide an overview of scientific knowledge regarding the themes of innovation, knowledge management (KM) and information management (IG). Method: this is a descriptive study, of a quantitative nature, which will apply bibliometric methods and techniques of Social Network Analysis (SNA) in a database of scientific publications. Results: general statistical analyses show that both the number of published articles and the number of citations have grown significantly over the decades, where 73.2% of articles and 52% of citations are concentrated in the last decade. The predominant subjects of the decades use the concepts of KM and IM focused on the organizational environment. It is evident that the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, China, Australia and Italy are together the main generators of scientific knowledge involving the themes of KM, IM and innovation. In terms of cooperation, despite few collaborations between countries (19.5%), it is noted that they are well diversified across countries and continents. Conclusions: finally, it is possible to conclude that the themes have developed a lot over the decades, especially in the organizational context. Also demonstrating itself as a worldwide interest, where several countries from different continents are dedicated to studies on the themes.
