摘要
This work, based on essayistic methodological inspiration, is an offshoot of a first author's course conclusion research and proposes an exercise of theoretical and conceptual reflection in the discussion of the political and social uses of the term intersectionality, specifically in the relationship between social movements of people deaf and trans people. Through an exploratory study of the theme, we sought with our initial bibliographic survey to show ways in which intersectionality can be a powerful analytical tool in the field of education for both social movements cited, understanding the uses and discourses to test points of approximation/intersection - and also borders and separations - that can help defend and claim a dignified existence for trans people, for deaf people and for trans and deaf people. In this direction, we start from the premise that social movements led by minority groups in their specificities have points in common that can offer concepts, theories and strategies capable of helping in the struggles faced by social movements more broadly. It is believed that this study can add to the intersectional discussions already proposed in the educational field, contributing both to studies in the area of deaf education and to gender debates with a focus on transgenderism in education.
