摘要
Study Objective: To identify the perception of coaches regarding success factors in volleyball teams.Methodology/Approach: The methodological approach had three stages. The first allowed identifying these factors, the second aimed at preparing and validating the questionnaire and the third for its application. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics.Originality/Relevance: The study is original because it deals with the understanding of the management factors that bring teams closer to sports success, being relevant due to the possibility of improving the work of managers, technical commissions and coaches.Main results: The results indicate that the most important factors for base teams were those related to people management. For the high-performance teams were those related to logistics and financial aspects.Theoretical/methodological contributions: The survey of the profile of Volleyball coaches in the country, the characterization of their relationship with the modality, in addition to the identification of the most important factors for the success of base and high-performance teams.Social / Management Contributions: The work may contribute to the adoption of people management policies in the teams; with the implementation of management measures for the most relevant factors for the modality; to increase the effectiveness of the work carried out by sports managers and coaches.
