Application of a Corner Reflector to Reduce the Dispersion of the OAM Beam of a Compact Antenna

摘要
In this paper was presented a low-profile circularly polarized fractal antenna designed to generate an orthogonal OAM beam for vehicular communication system application at 5.9 GHz band. A Koch fractal geometry was designed using a code written in ScilabT. The final antenna design was achieved after implementation of the L-system together with a conformal transformation. A circularly polarized beam presenting OAM was obtained by applying a rotated rectangular patch rotated behind the fractal element. The collimation beam of the OAM fields is improved using a corner reflector behind the antenna with fractal element. The simulated of the resonant and radiation parameters of the proposed fractal antenna using the corner reflector were obtained using CST commercial software. The results shown a great a potential to control the long range performance in vehicular communication system using collimated OAM beam.
