摘要
As the need for sustainable transportation solutions grows, public bicycle sharing (PBS) becomes increasingly important in urban transportation system design. Public bicycle sharing has significant environmental, social, and health benefits, making it a desirable addition to most cities' infrastructure. Analyzing data from existing PBS systems can help us create efficient and environmentally friendly transport network solutions and improve existing PBS systems. This paper demonstrates how collected data from a single PBS system can help evaluate the existing service. Moreover, our analysis is formulated in a proposal for ameliorating and introducing new PBS stations based on the estimated demand and population distribution. In addition, we give a thorough analysis of the usage intensity of road infrastructure, especially road network versus dedicated bicycle network.
