摘要
Based on a multiple case study, this paper aims to analyse the relationship between wine tourism and wine consumption as a mechanism of articulation between the demand for the product and the territory. In this way, the wine-growing region of the state of Queretaro was taken as the study area, because it is the third most important wine region in Mexico. Due to this, the number of wine tourists has been constantly growing, so that, from the reference framework of post-industrial capitalism, a critical view is developed on the relationships established between wine tourism, wine consumption and wine production. These aspects are linked to socio-cultural and economic-productive transformations that are taking place on a territorial scale.
