摘要
Key TakeawaysWith water demand projected to rise substantially in Florida, strategically designed and targeted conservation programs are important for reducing overall water use.According to a Florida study, over-irrigators could cut their monthly water bills by more than $35 by using a smart irrigation controller.Utilities stand to benefit from establishing effective conservation programs; in the case of this study, water demand could drop by 1.62 mgd if smart irrigation controller rebates are targeted to over-irrigators.
