摘要
Alarm systems are an essential component of modern hospital infrastructure and are part of the nerve center of the hospital organization. The alarm systems help protect staff and patients from threats and to quickly respond to emergencies. There are various alarm systems in a hospital, such as emergency call systems to support hospital processes (call systems, REA alarm, emergency cesarean section), medical monitoring (vital data monitoring, telemetry) and technical monitoring (fire alarm systems, building management systems). In maternity wards medical personnel often need to react quickly to critical situations to save lives or prevent damage to health. A fast and effective alert system is therefore of great importance to ensure a quick response. The systems are subject to various standards and specifications. It is also important for the hospital to ensure that alarm systems are regularly maintained and updated in order to ensure they are always running as required. The interface and alarm transmission must be designed in such a way that reliable transmission of alarms is guaranteed. All components of the alarm chain must be monitored automatically and end to end. In the event of a system failure, appropriate technical, personnel or organizational measures must be taken to ensure that patients can continue to be monitored.
