摘要
A new method based on leakage flux linkage is proposed to monitor both bolted and arcing line-ground faults in high resistance grounding motor-drive systems. Early-stage detection of high resistance ground fault allows maintenance personnel to locate and diagnose potential ground fault to avoid severe damages and unplanned downtime. The proposed method's key advantage is its capability to dynamically monitor fault resistance, analyze results, and generate appropriate warnings at an early stage.
