摘要
The article presents the results of a study of the state of will among Tuvans in the process of transformation of traditional Tuvan society. Tuvans living in cities (Kyzyl and Moscow) and rural areas of Tuva (Erzin and Mugur-Aksy) were compared (total 773 people). To assess the state of volitional regulation, a formalized method of self-assessment of volitional qualities of a personality (V.A. Ivannikov, E.V. Eidman), "Action control Scale" (J. Kuhl), "Questionnaire to identify the severity of self-control in the emotional sphere, activity and behavior" were used. To assess the state of the semantic sphere of personality, the Test of life orientations and Sh. Schwartz's methodology of value orientations were used.. The results of the factor analysis of self-assessments of volitional qualities showed the presence of four factors: "Emotion management", "Motivation management", "Action management", "Energy management of activity". Rural and urban residents significantly differed in the estimates of the factors "Motivation management" and "Action management", as well as in the indicators of the "Action Control Scale", the Test of life orientations, Sh. Schwartz's questionnaire on emotional and behavioral self-control. According to all these indicators, rural residents outperformed urban residents. It has been hypothesized that these differences are mediated by changes in the semantic sphere of the respondents. The results of the covariance analysis confirmed this hypothesis regarding the "Action management" factor. In general, the results obtained expand the understanding of the semantic mechanisms of volitional regulation as the highest mental function. In the process of transformation of traditional society, there is an increasing need to turn to volitional self-control in everyday life. These changes are primarily related to the transformation of a person's semantic relationship with the world.
