One-pot, facile and microwave-assisted timesaving-synthesis of Co3O4@CuO nanocomposite for enhanced energy-storage application

摘要
The mesoporous Co3O4@CuO is successfully synthesized by a fast, facile, low-cost house-hold microwaveassisted wet-chemical method. The effect of composition of Co3O4 in Co3O4@CuO is investigated to optimize its electrochemical-performance. It is inferred that the electrode-prepared with the optimized Co3O4@CuO has shown a state of the art specific-capacity of 2360 C/g at 2 A/g. The same-electrode demonstrated a spectacular 87.9% retention at 15 A/g after 10,000 cycles, manifesting its excellent reversibility and cyclic stability. The results highlight the synthesis-confirmation of Co3O4@CuO and its potential-application as a battery-type electrode-material for high-performance energy-storage devices.
