摘要
Objective. To create a systematic review to determine the effectiveness of the behavioral intervention strategies used in school-aged children (6-to-12-year-olds) with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Method. The existing literature from January 2011 to April 2021 was analyzed through a search carried out in different databases using the selected keywords in both English and Spanish. A total of 19 studies were identified that matched the established inclusion criteria, it included a total sample of 690 children from the treatment group and 578 from the control group. Results. The implementation of behavioral intervention programs continues to be a challenge and a field of study to be systematized by professional researchers.
