摘要
In this issue of Developmental Cell, Pfannenstein and Macara leverage the experimental versatility of the mammary gland to show that intercalation within the terminal end bud is regulated by the tight junction orga-nizing protein ZO-1 and dynamic actin cytoskeletal rearrangements to propel ductal elongation.
