摘要
The objective of this study is to suggest strategies for developing reading/comprehension skills of narrative texts among Arabic-speaking learners in French as a Foreign Language (FFL) classroom. To achieve this goal, we approach the competence of reading-comprehension and we define these two terms, reading and comprehension. We also examine the principles of textual linguistics and the notion of narrative sequence. We then present our research context and we identify the difficulties encountered by our learners when reading-understanding narrative sequences. Finally, we develop and implement a number of didactic activities with our learners using a narrative text.
