摘要
This article questions the presence of an "anthropological clause" in the Critique of Pure Reason, redoubling the trial pure reason sets for itself. Despite the transcendental breakthrough, Husserl charges Kant with anthropological relativism, as if the clause "for us humans" which is frequently used in the first Critique explains and simultaneously limits the universal validity of synthetic a priori judgments. However, it is possible to reconcile the alleged contradiction leveled against Kant by Husserl, showing that the humanity of our power of knowing is never presupposed by Kant and is in fact a discovery of reason about itself. This article therefore aims to clarify the exact nature of the limit set by the anthropological qualification of pure reason in Kant's work.
