THE LITERATURE OF ANTHROPOCENE

Despite widespread opinions that place the dangers to literature outside of it, in external threats, it is quite possible that the greatest challenges for the survival of literature come from within itself. After examining what may be the literature of the Anthropocene, we will see the impact that the global COVID-19 pandemic has had on the intensification of digitization on a global scale. This will lead us to examine the concept of the "digital hyperbaroque", its possible application to recent literature in Spanish, and finally establish plausible escape routes for literature in the coming years.
