摘要：

After being elected to the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Governing Board as treasurer for two terms (from 2018 to 2020 and from 2020 to 2021), I left PES as financially one of the healthiest of all the IEEE Societies. Since serving the membership in that role, I was appointed for 2022 and now 2023 to be vice president (VP) for new initiatives and outreach. It was a great honor to have served PES and its members as treasurer and a renewed honor and privilege to continue serving as the PES VP for new initiatives and outreach. It is one of the most exciting and enriching experiences, and I am very grateful for all Society members. I personally encourage all motivated Society members to get involved in volunteering with PES. Serving the Society and its members is a must! © 2003-2012 IEEE.
