From Open Educational Resources to Open Educational Practices: The Community Based OER Approach of the ZHAW University Library

摘要
The following practice report describes the steps taken at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) to develop and establish an OER community. These range from initial information and awareness-raising measures to the development of an OER policy, the implementation of a sustainability project in the field of OER with students, and the participation of the OER team in strategic initiatives of the university. In the period from 2018 until today, various activities, feedback and exchange within the OER community, have shifted the focus of the OER team from open educational resources (OER) to open educational practices (OEP or open pedagogy). This change of perspective has made it possible to address teachers as well as students with the topic of OER and to help shape new developments in the teaching and learning environment of the university.
