摘要
In this paper we will analyse Borges' projections on the Divine Comedy, under the premise that intertex-tuality is a deconstructive process in itself, to which are added the criteria of the analysis of the subversion of the Dantesque centres or anchors of thought and a process of self-projection, by means of which Bor-ges, with a markedly postmodern accent, resemanticises and subverts the most famous passages of the Comedy, eclipsing the medieval facet of the work, with a view to highlighting his own presuppositions, previously emptying it of its original content. The intertextual relations between Borges and Dante show how the Argentinean instrumentalises and transforms the Comedy in pursuit of his recurrent philoso-phical-literary ideas, subjecting it to a kind of poetic alchemy, resulting in a veritable compendium of his philosophical ideas, making it clear that all hierarchy and order can be subverted.
