摘要
The semi-rigid base road causes the road arching disease under the unique climate environment in the desert area. To solve this problem, numerical simulation technology, and thermodynamics theory were used to calculate the temperature field and stress field inside the road structure, and the engineering treatment measures of setting expansion joint in the semi-rigid base were proposed, and its application effect was verified. On this basis, the reasonable parameters of expansion joint setting were explored to provide a reference for the formulation of relevant specifications. The results show that the semi-rigid base produces extrusion stress under the action of ambient temperature, which leads to accumulation effect and makes the road arch. The smaller the elastic modulus and the wider the expansion joint, the more significant the absorption effect of extrusion stress. The height and vertical position of the expansion joint has no significant effect on the height development of the arch.
