Reflections on the Notion of Personhood in the Mythical Narratives of the Upper Rio Negro: the Experience of the Tukano Bubera Pora

This article is about presenting the sociocultural references of the Tukano people, their dynamics of dispersion and transformation in different social spaces since the mythical facts. Through the reflection of the indigenous concepts Kehti Ukunse and Munropau Ussetisse, it is possible to understand aspects of the notion of person that access the cosmology and ontology in the Upper Rio Negro. At the end of the article, I conclude that indigenous epistemological assumptions can be applied to other social contexts and explain other narratives as much as the modern, Western view we have as reference.
