摘要
Point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) has established itself as an indispensable technique in medical diagnostics and patient care. This innovative imaging allows medical professionals to perform ultrasound scans directly at the patient's bedside or in close proximity. This speeds up diagnoses, treatment monitoring, and follow-up, especially in acute situations. POCUS provides high-quality, real-time ultrasound images and is a critical tool for physicians worldwide. POCUS is particularly powerful in obstetrics and gynecology. It improves diagnostic accuracy, enables targeted therapies, and strengthens physician-patient relationships. It can be lifesaving in emergencies and improves access to imaging in underserved regions. Technological advances are bringing more compact, portable devices with better image quality. Integration into medical education will strengthen the skills of professionals. POCUS will also play a role in antenatal care and gynecological examinations, with telemedical approaches improving remote patient monitoring. In summary, POCUS is improving medical diagnostics and patient care. With advancing technology, targeted training, and increasing integration, it will further optimize patient care in gynecology and obstetrics.
