摘要
This essay analyzes the civic initiatives "Amazonia Minada" and "Elas no Congresso," working with e -transparency and open data concepts, in the digital democracy context. This initiatives are promoted by the Brazilian society that uses open data on public administration. The methodology studies civic digital democracy initiatives from five categories: 1) technological resources; 2) forms of online participation; 3) actors involved in the development and use of the initiatives; 4) the political objectives of the initiatives; 5) fundraising strategies. The main results show that the analyzed initiatives represent new democratic models that promote transparency. However, it is important to note that these initiatives still face significant challenges in terms of scope and it is essential to encourage the action of intermediaries for the dissemination of open information and data.
