Didactic Strategy for the Development of Reading Promotion in Basic General Teaching Students

摘要
Reading promotion is the fundamental basis for learning subjects, and for the development of communicative skills in students. The objective of this article is to propose a didactic strategy for the development of reading promotion. In the development of the research that supports the article, a methodology was applied that combines the qualitative and quantitative approaches of the research, with the use of synthetic, inductive, logical historical methods and, as empirical methods observation, survey and interview. We worked with a population of 34 students and 5 teachers. The results of the initial diagnosis showed the lack of systematics of teachers for the development of communicative skills and not application of actions to favor reading promotion in students. The proposed strategy will be a great way to improve teacher management in the reading promotion of fourth year students of the "Monsignor Juan Wiesneth" Educational Unit.
