摘要
The United Kingdom National Data Centre, on behalf of the UK government, is responsible for handling the analysis and assessment of radionuclide data from the International Monitoring System-the verification system operated and maintained by the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organisation. A series of custom-developed software packages have been implemented for the analysis of both Noble Gas and Particulate sampling data and the subsequent source parameter estimation of radionuclide detection events. These include a radionuclide pipeline for the download, analysis, sorting and archiving of radionuclide data, as well as an atmospheric transport modelling pipeline for performing simulations at varying degrees of fidelity. A new software package, CARVE, provides the capability to interrogate radionuclide detection events and assess their relevance in the context of the Treaty using interactive mapping.
