How Challenging is it to Design a Practical Superdirective Antenna Array?

This work introduces the concept of the loaded dipole antenna array configuration in the design of low-complexity, easily implemented, and highly radiation-efficient superdirective antennas. Based on this concept, the design focuses on optimizing the loads rather than the input voltages, significantly simplifying the design process without the need for power amplifiers, attenuators, and phase shifters. A comprehensive theoretical analysis is presented and validated through numerical simulations, demonstrating excellent agreement between the analytical and numerical results.
