摘要
Over the past years, digital workflows have become well established in dental laboratories. Intraoral scanners are increasingly being used in dental practices to replace the last analogue step, i.e., the conventional impression. When it comes to taking impressions of implants, conventional impressions are technically demanding and error-prone. The question therefore arises as to whether it is possible to digitally take impressions of implants and thereby achieve technical simplification and standardization. But even in the digital workflow, technical knowledge and experience with intraoral scans are necessary in order to achieve the highest possible accuracy.
