摘要
The present study examined the trade direction of mango export. Saudi Arabia showed the highest positive and significant growth rate for mango imports, and YAR showed the highest positive and significant growth for mango pulp export. The study revealed that; U.A.E. and Qatar were the most stable market for fresh mango export, and U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia were the most stable markets for mango pulp. Sanitary and Phyto-Sanitary (SPS) measures revealed that spices, fresh and processed fruits and vegetables consignments faced a higher number of rejections. The notifications were issued by the U.S. and E.U. markets mainly on account of having filth pesticide residues, microbial contamination and noncompliance with other mandatory technical parameters.
