In his understanding of the nature of the times and problem of modernity at the age of Marx’s life, Karl Marx was greatly influenced by philosophy of Hegel, so did the way he choose to solve the problem of modernity. If Hegel overcame the contradiction of subject and object, Marx disclosed the origin of capitalist contradiction and found the way to resolved the contradiction by analyzing the concept of labor and Practice. The concept of practice Marx used belongs to modernity, so does the way Marx try to solve the problem of modernity.
