摘要：

现代知识社会将教育提升到最高的地位,那些掌握了大量知识技能的人能够在这一新的社会现实中获得竞争优势并脱颖而出。尽管这种普遍的分析已成为观察家公认的真理,但对于知识和知识技能的实际含义仍然存在重大分歧,更不用说在现代社会中获得成功需要多少知识以及何种知识。本文通过对"知识"一词的一般概念以及这一概念所隐含的技能之特殊性质解决这些悬而未决的问题,将知识视为社会行动的能力,即行动力。这一理解具有重要意涵,最核心的观点是知识永远不会立即发挥作用,而是受到社会、政治和文化解释过程的约束——它从来都不能自行确定。
