Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical Co., Ltd. has selected UNIPOLPolypropyleneProcess Technology for its new 200 000 t/a polypropylene facility. The plant will bebuilt in Quanzhou, Fujian province, and is expected to come on line in 2011. The DowChemical announced August 25th, 2009.The facility will mainly produce homopolymers, to meet the demand in China andabroad.This world-scale facility is the sixth polypropylene plant in China to license UNIPOL
